The BYD Atto 3 Evo is an updated small electric SUV aimed at Australian buyers wanting a practical, value-focused step into EV ownership. Its five-door SUV body makes it well suited to commuting, suburban family duties and everyday errands, with the quiet, smooth driving character expected of an electric vehicle. From September 2026, the local range is set to comprise Dynamic and Premium trims, priced from $41,990 and $46,990 before on-road costs respectively. The Dynamic continues as the more affordable entry point, while the new Premium flagship adds a single-motor rear-wheel drive layout, larger battery and longer-range focus. Freshened interior and exterior styling also help keep the Atto 3 competitive in Australia’s fast-growing electric SUV market. Some leftover pre-update Essential stock may still be available at a lower price.
