2018-20 Jeep Grand Cherokee recalled
Eight Jeep Grand Cherokee models are being recalled to fix an issue that could lead to an engine stall.

FCA Australia is recalling eight examples of its 2018-20 Jeep Grand Cherokee as their engines could stall.
“In some vehicles the signal from the crankshaft position sensor may fail. This may result in an engine stall, as well as loss of the ability to restart the engine or loss of engine power,” the company says in its recall notice.
“A sudden loss of engine power increases the risk of an accident and injury or death to vehicle occupants or other road users.”
- A total of eight vehicles are affected
- Vehicles were available for sale from 1 October, 2017 to 31 August, 2020

FCA Australia will notify owners once parts become available. If you own an affected vehicle, you can then take it to a Jeep dealer for a free inspection and repair.
