Leapmotor's overseas volume reached 105,000 vehicles in the first eight months of 2026, more than double its result for the whole of last year.
Figures presented by Leapmotor International at the launch of the B03X in Spain show the company recorded 47,500 vehicles outside China during 2025.
It then recorded 30,000 in the first quarter of 2026, 40,000 in the second quarter and another 35,000 across July and August.
That makes its January-to-August overseas result 121.1 per cent higher than the full-year 2025 figure.

Leapmotor International global head of brand strategy, product and marketing Francesco Giacalone said Europe remained central to the company's international business, while the contribution from South America, Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia was growing.
The company now operates in more than 50 markets across five continents and says it has more than 1000 sales and service locations outside China.
Leapmotor delivered a record 103,129 vehicles worldwide in August, an increase of 80.72 per cent year-on-year.
It followed 101,267 deliveries in July, making August the company's second consecutive month above 100,000 vehicles and its fifth consecutive monthly sales record.

Leapmotor delivered 560,883 vehicles globally between January and August, up 70.55 per cent on the same period last year. Cumulative deliveries since sales began in 2020 reached 1,759,320 vehicles.
The company remains committed to delivering one million vehicles during 2026.
"We will make one million vehicles," Mr Giacalone told media in Spain.

Leapmotor still needs another 439,117 deliveries between September and December to reach that target.
That requires an average of 109,779 vehicles per month across the final four months of the year, around 6.4 per cent more than its August record.
The target is therefore within reach, but it is not yet secured. Leapmotor must outperform its best-ever month on average through each remaining month of 2026.
Australia remains a small part of the international result.

Leapmotor delivered 112 vehicles here in August, up 286.2 per cent year-on-year albeit from a low base. Its local range now includes the C10, B10 and B05, with the B03X expected to become its fourth model after appearing in Australian Government approval documents.
The international operation is still much smaller than Leapmotor's Chinese business, but its rate of expansion has changed markedly.
It took the company all of 2025 to record 47,500 vehicles overseas. In July and August 2026 alone, it recorded 35,000.
