Volkswagen launches 4Plus Care Plans for vehicles up to 15 years old

Volkswagen Australia has expanded its service plans to include cars up to 15 years old, launching its 4Plus Care service plans for older-generation models.

Similar to its three- and five-year new car Care Plans, the service packages for older models are available in two- and four-year variants, including “basic essential service inclusions” over the program period as well as brake fluid changes and cabin filter replacement.

The 4Plus Car Plan ensures the use of Volkswagen Genuine Parts, all warrantied for two years, services completed by Volkswagen technicians, and the plans themselves are transferrable if you sell your vehicle.

“By extending service Care Plan offering to cars between four and 15 years old, owners know their vehicles are being serviced with the correct parts and technical expertise, at an affordable and transparent price,” Volkswagen says in its media release.

The news comes after Mitsubishi Australia announced this week it will be introducing a 10-year warranty and capped-price servicing program, provided vehicles are maintained within the Japanese brand’s national dealer network.
