Volvo Car Australia is recalling the Volvo EX30 to fix head restraints that may not restrain occupants in the event of a collision in the small luxury SUV.
"The front seat head restraints may not have been manufactured to specifications. As a result, they may move or detach from the seat in the event of a collision," the company says in its recall notice.
"If the head restraints move or detach from the seat in the event of a collision, there is an increased risk of serious injury or death to vehicle occupants."

If you own an affected vehicle, you'll need to schedule an appointment with an authorised Volvo dealership to have the fix carried out, free of charge.
If you have any further questions, you can contact Volvo Car Australia Customer Care on 1300 787 802.
Earlier this year, Volvo Car Australia issued two separate recalls for a battery fault in the EX30 that could lead to a vehicle fire. It subsequently confirmed work was underway to replace defective battery modules.
