Ford Mustang Mach-E

The Ford Mustang Mach-E is Ford's electric SUV, using the Mustang name to give the brand's EV push a more emotional identity. It is a very different proposition from the V8 coupe, with five doors, a high-riding body and a choice of rear- or all-wheel-drive electric drivetrains. In Australia it targets buyers considering models such as the Tesla Model Y, Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5, but with Ford styling cues and a more familiar dealer network. Its appeal is quiet performance, practical packaging and a sportier image than many electric SUVs. The GT version adds stronger acceleration, while mainstream grades focus on range and daily usability.
