    Ford Bronco Comparison

The Ford Bronco is set to join Ford Australia’s showroom lineup, with the Bronco New Energy confirmed for local sale and expected in 2027. Unlike the left-hand-drive Bronco familiar from the US, the Australian-bound model is a Chinese-made range-extender SUV, giving Ford a more adventurous electrified option alongside models such as the Ranger plug-in hybrid, Mustang Mach-E and electric Transit. It is expected to appeal to buyers who like the Bronco’s rugged, retro-inspired image but want a more efficient, modern powertrain suited to daily use as well as weekend escape duties. Full Australian specifications, pricing and timing are still to be confirmed, but its arrival will mark the first time the Bronco nameplate has formed part of Ford’s local new-car range.
