2022 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 review

Jeep isn't bringing this car to Australia, but we've hopped behind the wheel in the USA. Suffice it to say, we're missing out.

The new WL series of Grand Cherokee sees the belated addition of a third row, but the only engine in the new L is a petrol V6.

The updated Jeep Compass has a classy new interior and a long list of equipment, but it’s a small SUV priced up against mid-sized rivals.

The Gladiator Rubicon is the ultimate Jeep ute with off-road gear aplenty. It has all the pros and cons of a Wrangler, just with a big tray.

If you are looking to do weekends away and an excuse to head bush, then the Gladiator is a winner – provided payload and towing aren't essential.

Jeep's range-topping Compass has the coveted Trail Rated badge on its flanks. Does it have the capability to back it up?

It's big and impractical, but the Jeep Gladiator has something most of its rivals just can't match – it's seriously cool.

The Jeep Compass is handsome, and it's a huge step forward from the first-generation car. But there's better value to be found in the range than the S-Limited – and in rival line-ups.

You pay a price for the Jeep Wrangler's excellent off-road ability and buckets of character. There's the relatively high RRP, for one, not to mention a mediocre safety rating.

Some might look at the new Jeep Gladiator as a bit too pricey, but it possesses a cool factor that can't be matched by its dual-cab rivals.

Almost as fast as a Lamborghini Urus for a hell of lot less coin. The Trackhawk is the sort of car no one needs, but we all desperately want.

The Gladiator is the Jeep we all want – the Wrangler – with more space for all your stuff in the back. Sounds good, right?
